Event description
Join us for our free 8-Step Professional Development Course for Educators designed for teachers of Victorian Department of Education schools.
This course, led by Holocaust education experts, provides teachers with the knowledge and pedagogy to teach the Holocaust with confidence.
The course will run across four weekly sessions from 3:45pm to 4:45pm. We have multiple session options running throughout the year allowing teachers the flexibility in their professional development. Please click 'Get Tickets' to see the available options.
Course content
This course will include:
- Expert-led session on Holocaust rationale
- Holocaust pedagogical advice
- Appropriate & engaging resources for learning
- Ongoing support and resources
Eligibility criteria
This course is free to all Victorian Department of Education teachers. Please ensure you meet the following eligibility criteria before enrolling:
- VIT registered
- Currently teaching within a Victorian Department of Education secondary school
- Has an education.vic.gov.au or vic.edu.au email address and will provide this at the time of registration
- A requirement of participation in this subsidised program is to take part in longitudinal surveys pre and post participation
This subsidised program is not currently available to Casual Relief Teachers (CRTs).
Please be aware, registration must be completed at least 7 days prior to the session date.
