Event description

Relax, make a mess, and learn the basics of pottery in this 8-week course.

This course is great for complete beginners. It covers throwing on the wheel, hand-building methods such as pinch & coil and slab, as well as clay recycling and glazing.

Being in a small group of 10 students, you will receive plenty of one-on-one time and hands-on guidance.

Classes run on Thursday nights from 6-8pm at the Otago Potters Group. They begin on Thursday October 23rd and end on December 18th. Please note that there will be no class on the 20th November.

Clay, tools, glaze, and firing costs are included.
