STONE THE ROSES feature some of the finest independent musicians in Australia who play the songs of the Stone Roses with passion, faith, and flair. STONE THE ROSES are three Poms and an Aussie with North of England roots. They recently toured Australia with Noasis selling out classic venues such as The Espy in Melbourne, Manning Bar in Sydney, Hindley Street Music Hall in Brisbane and Felons Barrel Room in Brisbane. Band members have been signed to EMI and London Records, played the Glastonbury Festival and toured with classic indie acts such as Cast.
They bring the Stone Roses live experience to kaleidoscopic life stunners from the Roses' classic debut album (voted the Greatest British Album of All time by the New Musical Express and the Observer) including: "I Wanna Be Adored", "She Bangs the Drums", "Waterfall", "Made of Stone", "This is The One" and "I Am the Resurrection".
They also deliver the funk/dance epic "Fools Gold", which broke the Roses Down Under, early singles such as “Elephant Stone” and “Sally Cinnamon”, B-side gems such as “Mersey Paradise”, and hits from the Roses' criminally under-rated “Second Coming” album, including "Love Spreads" and "Ten Storey Love Song".
