    Event description

‘A Celebration of Jeff Buckley’s Grace’, is exactly that - a night dedicated to the life and songs of one of music’s most cherished voices, Jeff Buckley.

Coming off the back of sell out shows in March, which marked 25 years since Jeff Buckley’s passing, vocalist John Dixon linked up with Buckley collaborator and friend, Gary Lucas, to tell the story of a partnership which resulted in co-written anthems ‘Grace’ and ‘Mojo Pin’.

This time around, the upcoming anniversary of Jeff Buckley’s debut album Grace has prompted Dixon, accompanied by Simon Lamb & Michael Di Cecco, to hit the road celebrating both a brilliant voice and a remarkable body of work.

In doing so, audiences can expect to once more journey through Buckley’s rich and varied musical presence — revisiting the masterpiece that is Grace, perhaps discovering lesser-known gems off Sketches from My Sweetheart the Drunk, and exploring some solo repertoire, the songs of Jeff Buckley, and those that influenced him will be honoured in an intimate yet joyous setting.

The night promises extraordinary music, paying tribute to an extraordinary musician.

“When John is singing, there are moments when you close your eyes and you are really witnessing Buckley in full flight” — Glenn A Baker

“John is one of the finest vocalists I’ve ever worked with on a Buckley tribute project” — Gary Lucas
