Dashing Through the Snow, a Celtic Christmas concert filled with warmth, wonder, and a little holiday mischief!
More than a collection of seasonal favorites, the program follows the Nativity story through music and song, weaving together beloved carols, lively Celtic tunes, rich harmonies, and engaging storytelling. Along the way, the trio also celebrates the winter solstice, family, community, and the welcome return of light during the darkest time of year.
Familiar melodies take on new life through Celtic rhythms and imaginative arrangements, joined by traditional tunes from Ireland, Scotland, Shetland, Orkney, Scandinavia, and beyond.
The result is an evening that moves easily from quiet reflection to foot-tapping joy!
Based on the island of Nahant, Dashing Rock Celtic Trio features Elizabeth Ketudat, Dave Cabral, and Sarah MacConduibh, longtime friends and musical collaborators whose performances are known for their warmth, humor, and wide-ranging instrumentation. Their concerts feature fiddle, nyckelharpa, flute, whistles, Scottish smallpipes, guitar, accordion, vocals, and more.
