Hope Hampers
Throughout the run of A Christmas Carol, we will be raising money in aid of Hope Hampers, an initiative from The Everyday Foundation that works to eliminate food insecurity on The Sunshine Coast. Each year Hope Hampers provides Christmas hampers to members of the Sunshine Coast community that may not be able to afford the essentials to provide for their families. It’s our hope with the hampers and gifts, that we’re able to bring some joy to families during an often-difficult time. All donations above $2 are tax deductible. In the spirit of Charles Dickens’ own support for charities, there will be a bucket collection at the end of each performance. Or you can give directly on our website: Donation form. We invite you to be stirred by the very message of the story of A Christmas Carol, that hope, generosity and kindness can make a difference in our community. The Everyday Foundation provides a place of practical support, connection and community, helping people break free from poverty. For more than 20 years, The Everyday Foundation has been meeting people in their place of need and supporting the most vulnerable in our community with a low-cost grocery store, meal support kitchen and emergency relief amongst many other programs that service our community. The Foundation is the charitable arm of Suncoast Church, and it forms part of the Global Care Australia network. Find out more about The Everyday Foundation - https://everyday.org.au/
