Description

In late January, the ACT Government released a 'Discussion paper on the next ACT Climate Strategy' for community consultation.

Full of vague words, and with no real action attached to it, the document is worth less than the paper it is written on.

In this webinar we'll give you a briefing on this 'discussion paper', talk about how the Conservation Council is responding to it, and provide tips for you if you're intending to write a submission.

The Conservation Council ACT Region is the ACT region’s leading environmental advocacy organisation and hub for community groups. Our mission is to protect nature and create a safe climate future in the ACT and region.

Since 1981 we have been at the centre of the region’s most important wins for wildlife, bushland and communities, encompassing over 40 member groups.

We are a non-profit, non-government organisation that run campaigns, promote and upskill local groups, undertake research, advocate passionately, and engage and inform our community.

Our belief is in the power of collective action to create change.
