On Tuesday 25th November at the Red Mill Distillery, Balmain, join award-winning drinks educators and creative consultants Michael and Zara Madrusan for an unforgettable evening celebrating the art, history, and craft of cocktails.
Enjoy a live masterclass featuring premium spirits from Red Mill Rum, Rozelle, where Michael will demonstrate how to create world-class cocktails. Guests will be treated to two tasting cocktails, with the chance to ask questions, purchase additional drinks and take home a signed copy of the book, The Madrusans’ Cocktail Companion, hailed as the most ambitious cocktail book ever published. Masterclass Event tickets are strictly limited, so please book early to avoid missing out.

ABOUT THE VENUE
Red Mill is based in the historic White Bay Steelworks, just across from the inner-west icon, the White Bay Power Station. Red Mill makes small batches of high-quality Rum to age in a special barrel program, blended and bottled in their wonderful, industrial home. Visiting Red Mill is a chance to see the workings of an artisanal distillery, in the historic surrounds of this remarkable building. We look forward to welcoming you to this unique venue.
Attendees are asked to arrive at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Seating is unallocated – another reason to arrive early to secure an optimal spot.

Michael Madrusan is an award-winning Australian drinks educator, creative consultant, and founder of Melbourne’s acclaimed bars The Everleigh, Heartbreaker, Connie’s Pizza, and Bar Margaux. A protégé of New York cocktail legend Sasha Petraske, he pioneered the packaged cocktail and clear ice movements with The Everleigh Bottling Co. and Navy Strength Ice Co., and was named Australian Bartender Magazine’s #1 Most Influential Person.

ABOUT ZARA MADRUSAN
Zara Madrusan is a UK-born writer and creative consultant, and co-founder of Bartender’s Choice Consultancy. She has led the brand development of acclaimed Melbourne venues The Everleigh, Heartbreaker, Connie’s Pizza, and Bar Margaux, and co-founded The Everleigh Bottling Co. and Navy Strength Ice Co. Zara also co-authored A Spot at the Bar, a modern classic for drinks enthusiasts and professionals alike.
