We’d love you to join us for our final Community Conversation of 2026 with Jim Mant. Jim holds a PhD in Evolution, Ecology and Systematics and is an experienced Feldenkrais practitioner and movement educator based in Northern NSW.

At the Nia Gathering in Byron Bay, Jim facilitated a Feldenkrais session that invited participants to explore gentle, restorative, self-directed movements. A number of participants found the experience so beneficial that they have continued exploring the Feldenkrais Method since returning home.

In this inspiring conversation, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about Jim, his approach to movement, and why the Feldenkrais Method has become both a personal and professional passion.

One of the most important principles of the Feldenkrais Method is that awareness itself can change movement.

The practice isn’t simply about making your body stronger or more flexible. Instead, it explores the relationship between attention, the nervous system, perception and movement — helping us discover new possibilities for how we move, feel and experience our bodies.

Join us live to experience a guided Feldenkrais “healing in a chair” experience.
