Event description

The climate crisis is happening here and now. As we work together towards future solutions today, it’s crucial that we also understand how we got to this point. Join Groundwork Denver and special guest Brandon Carver for a presentation and interactive conversation that examines the climate crisis through a scientific and historical lens. We’ll look into the past and see what decisions have delivered us to our current circumstances. Then, we’ll look the future and discuss various solutions humankind is working towards alongside our more-than-human relatives.

There’s no room for false positivity or despair as we fight for sustainable systems. As such, in this space we’ll reckon with climate realities soberly and hopefully.

This event includes warm introductions to each other, a slideshow presentation by Brandon Carver, Q&A, and group discussion.
