A conversation with thought leaders in tech about new ways of working

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

The way we work is changing, and it has accelerated dramatically by Covid. How do you have to be set up as a tech team to embrace new ways of working. Working in teams that are virtual, hybrid or distributed is now the norm. The days of co-location are gone. Digital technologies and social technologies have to work together to ensure that you can attract and retain the top talent whilst also driving productivity and innovation. Digital and cultural tools are intricately interwoven.

Organisations that don't embrace the new technological and human ways of working will be left behind.

We have invited representatives along from leading NZ tech teams who understand the challenges and have adapted to them.

Depending on your interest, the panel may discuss:

Digital tools for such things as collaboration, culture building, innovation and decision making.

Cultural tools such as micro-practices, rituals and ceremonies enabling new ways of working.

Their advice to others (get answers to your questions)

What is next up for them in their journey.

You will leave feeling inspired and with some actionable advice that you can apply to your workplace.

Panelists:
Mel Rowsell - previous Head of Leadership and Culture at Vend

Guy Day, General Manager - Auckland at Potentia Recruitment

Ryan Baker, Co-founder & CEO at Timely

Kristen Lunman, GM at Hatch
