A Conversational Art Form that Encourages Possibilities - WDL New Orleans
Event description
You are warmly invited to take part in a Warm Data Lab at the New Quorum, a 100+ year old mansion in New Orleans on historic Esplanade Avenue, in a space created as an artist residency to promote creativity and conversation
This unique warm data experience combines the charm of a historic setting with signature New Orleans architecture -- fifteen-foot ceilings, pocket doors, detailed medallions, period furnishings, and courtyard gardens -- with engaging after-dinner conversations among new acquaintances.
Warm Data has been described as a “kaleidoscope of conversations,” packed with enriching stories, laughter, and insight. The experience may nourish the soul, transform our approach to work, life, and community — and, ultimately, open new possibilities that can't be predicted. The conversations overlap and bring the depth of our interdependency into view.
This is what most of our ancestors did; they told stories, they pondered, and they sat together.
In this time of accelerating change and as an antidote to urgency, we offer a space to gather, wonder, and tune into each other, perhaps a space for new possibilities to emerge.
After the experience, the New Quorum will offer a tantalizing meal that is included in your ticket price. If you need/want vegetarian option as main dish, please email Shay at openingvoice@gmail.com.
Smoked Chicken and Andouille File Gumbo served with rice

Warm Data Labs are suitable for everyone, require no preparation, and English will be the shared language. We invite you to bring a human friend or three. Your stories, alive within you, are all you need.
