Join Jordan Grieves, owner of Hillwood Fresh Food Co for a tour of what's possible when farming meets innovation and nature works in balance.
This is you chance to explore a fully off-grid farm where gourmet mushrooms grow from reclaimed materials, Dexter cattle graze chemical-free pastures and chickens contribute to a living system that puts soil health first. A rotational grazing system with the cows and chickens being moved daily to a new pasture to maximise utilisation of feed and maintain good soil health.
On a guided tour, Jordan will take you through how every element - from the mushrooms to the pasture rotations and worm-powered bio stimulants - comes together to create food that's not only delicious but sustainable.
After the tour, there'll be mushroom-forward food to purchase crafted from Hillwood's produce and other local ingredients.
Relax with a view over the Tamar Valley, let the kids enjoy some games and take home a new understanding of how small-scale, regenerative farming is shaping a better food future.
