A Day in Dorrigo

A Day in Dorrigo is a one-day nature-based excursion designed to provide international students with an immersive experience exploring some of the most iconic natural attractions along the Waterfall Way.
Aim/s:
This program aims to foster social connection, cultural integration, and wellbeing through shared outdoor activities in a relaxed and scenic environment.
Destinations:
Ebor Falls: Our first stop will be the Ebor Falls, where students will enjoy panoramic views of the upper and lower cascades.
Dorrigo National Park & Rainforest Centre: At this UNESCO World Heritage-listed site, students will walk the elevated Skywalk for stunning views over the Bellinger Valley, followed by a guided rainforest walk to the tranquil Crystal Shower Falls. The walk offers a unique opportunity to experience Australia’s ancient Gondwana rainforests.
Dangar Falls: The final stop is the picturesque Dangar Falls near Dorrigo town. Students can view the waterfall from above or take a short walk to its base. This location offers a great setting for relaxation, group photos, and reflection before returning to Armidale.

Participant Requirements:
Students are advised to wear sturdy shoes, bring a jacket or raincoat, a hat, a water bottle, and a sense of adventure.
