A Dialogue on Healing

This event has passed Register

Event description

Trying to describe a Dialogue is like trying to describe Love; it means different things to different people.

At the core of the practice, we join for a time simply to open a space of non-judgement, non-presumption and non-dogma. We observe our thoughts as they flow and we allow two seconds after each person has spoken before anyone else speaks in an effort to hear from the heart.
We make space such that the focus is on the quality of Dialogue rather than trying to name what outcomes shall arise from being together. We withhold our assumptions and our projections by listening to what is being said, and what I am saying to myself in an effort to understand what the collective is trying to speak to our hearts and souls.

To begin our process, we will check in with each other on how we are in that moment, and we will open the space by sharing what we each understand healing is about. Close to the end time, we will allow time for check out.
The guide will take notes during the process and then write an ‘Annal’ which scribes the essence of the Dialogue which will be shared with all who were at the Dialogue, and with permission with others. All data is redacted and anonymous, relying on it as an essence of the we, rather than of a single individual.
