Join us for our inaugural A George-ous Christmas Graze, celebrating our first year at The George Tasmania! 🎄🥂

Whether you’re a Café Bar regular, a past Pod guest or visiting for the first time, we’d love to share a festive afternoon with you.

Perched high on Mount George, soak up 270° views across the Tamar River, Tamar Valley and Bass Strait while enjoying an Argentinian-style BBQ, delicious sides and salads, and a gourmet Tasmanian grazing buffet.

There’ll also be all your favourite sweet treats, Van Diemen’s Land Creamery ice creams and drinks from our fully licensed Café Bar.

Arrive from 12.30pm for your welcome Christmas drink, then settle in for relaxed, seated dining with buffet service—a lovely afternoon to share with family and friends.

By purchasing a ticket or attending A George-ous Christmas Graze, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Tickets and Inclusions

• Your ticket includes event entry, one welcome Christmas drink*, a gourmet Tasmanian festive grazing buffet, Argentinian-style BBQ with sides and salads, dessert bites and seating.

• Additional drinks, Café Bar sweet treats and Van Diemen’s Land Creamery ice creams are available to purchase separately.

• Humanitix booking fees apply and are displayed before payment.

• Tickets are non-refundable for change of mind, non-attendance or early departure. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law and applicable Humanitix terms remain protected.

• This is a relaxed dining event. There is no live music or food vans.

Welcome drink excludes premium cocktails. Alcoholic drinks are available only to guests aged 18 or over; a non-alcoholic alternative is available.

Food and Drinks

• No outside food or drinks, unless agreed with us beforehand for a dietary or medical requirement.

• Food is served buffet style during the advertised serving period. Please arrive on time to enjoy all inclusions.

• Advise dietary requirements when booking. We’ll do our best to accommodate requests with advance notice, but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Please discuss allergies with staff before eating.

• Menu substitutions may be necessary due to availability. We’ll aim to provide alternatives of comparable quality and value.

• Additional food and drinks must be paid for when ordered.

Seating and Service

• Seating is provided for sit-down dining. Picnic blankets and chairs are not required.

• Most seating is outdoors on the lawn. Limited Café Bar tables must be reserved in advance; any reservation charge will be disclosed when booking.

• Reserved Café Bar tables may be released if unoccupied 30 minutes after the advertised start time, unless you’ve contacted us.

• Buffet and Café Bar service is self-service; there is no table service. Please contact us beforehand if you need assistance or accessible seating.

Alcohol Service

• Drinks are available from our fully licensed Café Bar. House of Arras sparkling may be pre-ordered for collection chilled on arrival.

• Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements apply. Valid photo identification may be requested.

• Alcohol will not be supplied to anyone under 18 or to intoxicated persons.

Children and Dogs

• Children must remain supervised by a responsible adult.

• Well-behaved dogs are welcome on lead and under effective control. Keep dogs away from buffet and food-service areas.

• Please clean up after your dog and prevent disturbance to guests or wildlife.

Venue and Safety

• Our coastal bush setting includes uneven lawns, gravel paths and steep edges. Wear suitable footwear, bring warm layers and supervise children closely.

• Remain within designated event areas and follow reasonable staff directions. Accommodation Pods, decks and guest pathways are private.

• Native wildlife may be present. Do not approach, feed or disturb animals. Although lawns are prepared before the event, occasional wildlife droppings may remain.

• Respect staff, other guests and neighbouring properties. Unsafe, aggressive, discriminatory or seriously disruptive behaviour may result in refusal of entry or removal. No refund will ordinarily apply where removal results from a serious breach of these terms, subject to law.

Weather and Event Changes

• This is an outdoor event and will proceed where conditions are safe.

• We may adjust arrangements, postpone or cancel if severe weather, fire risk or other circumstances make this necessary. Ticket holders will be notified as soon as practicable.

• If the event is cancelled or materially changed, refunds will be provided in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and applicable Humanitix terms. Any transfer or credit offered instead will be optional.

Photography

• We may take photographs or short videos for promotional use. Please tell our team on arrival if you prefer not to appear, and we’ll take reasonable steps to respect your preference.

• We’ll seek parent or guardian permission before using identifiable close-up images of children for promotion.

Accessibility and Personal Belongings

• Accessible parking is available. Please contact us before booking to discuss mobility, seating or other access needs.

• Please take care of your belongings and report hazards or incidents promptly.

• Nothing in these terms excludes liability for our negligence or limits rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
