Join us for an uplifting performance of celebratory music by some of Restoration London's most iconic composers! Early music choir and orchestras The Tudor Consort and The Queen's Closet are excited to join forces to present a programme including Dr John Blow's coronation anthem for King James II, God spake sometime in vissions and St Cecilia's Day ode, The glorious day is come; Pelham Humfrey's, Smile, smile again, twice happy morn and Henry Purcell's Welcome glorious morn celebrating the birthdays of King Charles II and Queen Mary.
Indulge in the rich colours of the choir and baroque orchestra, including natural trumpets and a full historical double reed section of hoboys, tenor hoboy and bassoon!
This concert will run on a tiered payment system. Please feel free to choose whichever ticket price tier you are most comfortable with, the tier types are suggestions only.
