About Professor Ian Plimer:
Ian Plimer is an Emeritus Professor of Earth Sciences at the University of Melbourne, a former Professor of Mining Geology at the University of Adelaide, and a prominent corporate director in the mining sector. Recognized internationally for his work in geology, he has published over 120 scientific papers and written 15 popular books challenging orthodox views on climate change. He is a recipient of the Centenary Medal, the Clarke Medal, and multiple Eureka Prizes.
