Event description

Professor Ian Hickie will be delivering a talk covering youth mental health, followed by Healthy Minds researchers speaking about their work in eating disorders, digital health and self care.

Professor Hickie is a Professor of Psychiatry, Co-Director of Health and Policy, Brain and Mind Centre, University of Sydney and Scientific Advisor for Innowell Pty Ltd. Prof Hickie has led major public health and health services developments in Australia, particularly focusing on early intervention for young people with depression, suicidal thoughts and behaviours and complex mood disorders.

All welcome - parents, teachers, youth, mental health professionals and anyone interested in maintaining mental health in our younger population.

Light refreshments provided after seminar, with an opportunity to talk to Healthy Minds researchers.
