A Lamp Repair Workshop by Darebin Repair Cafe

Have you always wanted to know how to repair a lamp including a demo and having a go yourself?

Darebin Repair Cafe are proud to host a Lamp Repair Workshop. 

This workshop is part of a four workshop series we are fondly calling 'Our Fixing Fiesta"

Limited to 6 spots to allow interaction time with the repairer.

Tickets are $5 for members of Transition Darebin and $10 for the general public

On the day, come along before 11.30am to meet Michael, your repairer and bring along your lamp from home that you want to fix up.
Michael will run though how lamps operate and give a demo of a lamp repair. 

You can get ideas to fix our own lamp, or advice on how to do the repair with an opportunity to have a go at the repair yourself under supervision


Who will be your host?
Michael has been our lamp fixer for several years at the Darebin Repair cafe. He is also our resident test and tagger to check our appliances for safety.

Who is Darebin Repair Cafe?
Darebin Repair Cafe is a repair cafe volunteer group that are active in Darebin in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. we have been running repair cafes since 2018. We are part of the International Repair cafe foundation and also part of Transition Darebin. 

Transition Darebin is a community group based in Darebin, Melbourne which aims to inspire a transition to lower energy, more resilient and more sustainable ways of living. We are part of the worldwide Transition Network, an international movement of local communities coming together to re-imagine and rebuild our world.
