A Little Messy Productions Creative Day & workshop with author Adelle Frittitta

A Little Messy Productions invites young people from across the Goulburn Valley to a very special school holiday creative day in Shepparton.

We are delighted to welcome Melbourne-based author and art teacher Adelle Frittitta ~ the creative mind behind My Nonno Loves and My Nonna Loves, for a morning of storytelling, illustration and hands-on creativity.

During Adelle’s 90-minute workshop, young people will journey through the creative process, from the first spark of an idea to a finished piece of art.

Through a live read-aloud, creative discussion and hands-on mixed-media collage activity, participants will explore how images, colour and symbols can express feelings, family, love and connection. Each young person will create a personal artwork to take home ~ something made by them, inspired by their own ideas and experiences.

The creativity will continue throughout the day with creative writing, drama and movement workshops facilitated by A Little Messy Productions.

We will also welcome local cake and pastries maker Daniela from Piccolo Pasticceria for a very special cannoli-making experience, inspired by the warmth, family and connection at the heart of Adelle’s books.

Adelle's books will be available for purchase and signing on the day, kindly supplied by Collins Booksellers Shepparton. A signed copy of My Nonno Loves and My Nonna Loves is a gift they will return to again and again.

This is a day built around curiosity, creativity, belonging and joy ~ the kinds of meaningful creative experiences we believe every young person in regional Victoria deserves access to.
