A Love Letter to the Granny Square

We’re teaming up with shop.gal to bring you a two-part crochet workshop dedicated to the humble—and utterly iconic—granny square. Think of it as a soft rebellion stitched in technicolor.

Session One: June 26, 7:30PM

You’ll choose your destiny: a dreamy bonnet, a cosy balaclava, or a scarf to wrap yourself in granny square joy. I’ll guide you through the magic of crafting a classic granny square—yarn, hooks, and all the knowledge my Nonna taught me included.

Then, you’ll have four whole weeks of making as many granny squares as you need for your chosen project. You’ll create your squares at your own pace (and maybe theres a little Bob Dylan playing in the background.)

Session Two: July 24, 7:30PM
We’ll come back together to stitch it all into something beautiful and finished—learning how to join, shape, and finesse your project into a wearable heirloom.

18 seats only. $140 per guest. Yarn provided (unless you’re dreaming of your own palette—though we gently suggest leaving mohair to the intermediate crocheters or knitters.
