About the Workshop:
“Autumn Wanderings”
Skies blush of pink and blue
Birds sing a chorus
Haze of smoke on the horizon
and a cool breeze from the South.
The Mixed Media Collage Workshop will include Observations of positive and negative spaces, minimal colour palettes and the macro and micro viewpoints. We will take time to explore Natures magical patterns and Seasonal vibrations.
Rosie’s 3 hour workshop will include drawing and painting techniques inspired from observing shells, local flora and artists such as Georgia Okeefe and Hilma of Klimt. The workshop will begin with quick drawing exercises on paper, loose paint application creating surfaces for collages and the finishes with a work on canvas to take home.
Rosie will talk about “The happy accident” with art making, viewing space and objects from different viewpoints to create interest, colour palettes, line and taking individual art work on its own journey into the unknown.
