Event description

A MONUMENT TO TRIGGS TWO is a new large-scale contemporary site based participatory art project by SA artist Henry Jock Walker. The project encourages creative thinking and environmental action through surfing. It will use the iconic Triggs car park in the City of Onkaparinga and various locations across the Fleurieu Peninsula as the sites for a series of public interactive workshops with local surfing, artistic and residential communities.

Workshop - Surfboard Sculpture making with old surfboards plus sausage sizzle

Come along and join in the fun of creating artistic outcomes using old disused and forgotten surfboards. Get to know the lead artist Henry Jock Walker and find out how to get involved as the project takes off.  NB: You can also bring your own surf board only if you are prepared to say goodbye to it in its current form!

THIS IS A FREE ALL AGES EVENT.
