Step into an evening of timeless music, fine dining and dancing as Red Sand Big Band presents A Moonlight Serenade at The Conservatory, All Seasons Hotel Bendigo.

Dress for the occasion and enjoy the atmosphere of a classic big band dinner dance, with the full Red Sand Big Band featuring Steph McCorkelle on vocals bringing to life the music of the great swing era and beyond.

Settle in for a two-course alternate drop dinner, enjoy a drink from the bar, then take to the dance floor as the band provides the soundtrack to an elegant night of live music and dancing.

Whether you're an experienced dancer or simply love great live music and the chance to dress up for a special evening, A Moonlight Serenade is designed to be enjoyed by everyone. You don't need to know your foxtrot from your swing — dancing is encouraged, but certainly not compulsory.

Red Sand Big Band is a Bendigo based swing and jazz band, built on the big band era of the 1940s. Think Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman etc.
With a sound like no other, big bands were once the top of the hit parade and people like Glenn Miller changed the course of music for a decade.
The Red Sand Big Band couples this traditional setup of saxes, trombones, trumpets and rhythm section to some modern day classics you wouldn't expect would fit this genre of music, but they do.

The Red Sand Big Band comprises a bunch of local Bendigo musicians, the cream of the Bendigo swing and Jazz scene and feature the breath-taking vocal stylings of Steph McCorkelle, an amazing vocalist with decades of experience with all manner of music, including the RAN Band. Steph loves big band music, and we love having her as part of our team.
