A private musical event for the kids we sponsor in Kathmandu, Nepal
Help us celebrate our tenth year of a 100% volunteer run project supporting the social welfare, empowerment and education of underprivileged children.
Musicians include:
* Praashekh Borkar,(from the band Praaz), an internationally renowned sarod player from India. He is considered one of the top sarod exponents of Indian classical music. Praashekh will be collaborating with Julian Silburn a world renowned didjeridu player, sound healer and ceremonial world musician.
* Saritah is an international reggae artist playing with special guest Anita,(Emora Suara). Saritah delivers a potent combination of feminine spirit, conscious lyrics and heartfelt melodies whilst embodying a unique union of roots, reggae and soul.
* Anna Rettay is known for her wholehearted storytelling in her music, each song is incredibly tender, thoughtfully honest and places you right in the world she has crafted with each lyric.
Your presence and support at this event will make a massive difference to help break the cycle of poverty and to facilitate a brighter future for children in Nepal. You will have the chance via a live video link to see and hear the children and a opportunity to be introduced, ask a question and to learn more.
There will also be a 6 min short film, which has been recently made of the project.
Indian food (dahl with rice) and Chai will be complimentary.
Please bring a plate to share to suit your dietary requirements

The event will be in the courtyard of a home
We recommend bringing a rug and warm clothing in case it is cool
Bring Mossie repellent in case you need it.
There will be some beautiful Tibetan Art available for purchase
We do have some chairs but if you have a low rider or beach chair please bring
Depending on the weather the venue location may change
