Join us for A Night in Africa—an unforgettable evening celebrating Makeda’s birthday along with the rhythms, style, and flavors of the Motherland! Experience the electrifying sounds of Wazumbians, a dynamic Afro-fusion band hailing from Ghana known for blending traditional West African rhythms with funk, reggae, and highlife.
The evening also features vibrant African fashions, showcasing traditional and contemporary styles. Also for purchase will be African and Afro-Caribbean food vendors serving up delicious dishes to satisfy every palate.
We’ll be celebrating the birthday of our Executive Director, Makeda, along with all the Leos in the house!
