Poetica is thrilled to host two of Argentina's biggest opera stars for a night of opera favourites.

Introducing Mariana Mederos (soprano) and Sebastian Angulegui (baritone).

Mariana Mederos (soprano) was born in Argentina. She holds degrees in Music from the Argentinian National University of the Arts and the Singing Superior Institute of globally renowned Teatro Colon of Buenos Aires. She has performed concerts and participated in opera productions in the main venues in Argentina. Her musical activity has taken her to Madrid and the United States. She is currently a member of the Teatro Colon permanent choir, singing in numerous venues, including the Royal Opera of Muscat (Oman). In addition, she participates in galas and private events, addressing a wide international repertoire.

Sebastian Angulegui (baritone) was born in Argentina. He graduated from the Singing Superior Institute of the prestigious Teatro Colon of Buenos Aires. He was selected to represent his country in international singing competitions held in Europe. He sang as a soloist in several productions of the Teatro Colon and in the most prestigious venues in Argentina. At an international level, he sang in locations such as the United States (Miami, San Francisco, New York), Mexico, Uruguay, Oman. His repertoire includes the best known operatic and musical roles as well as popular genres such as international songs and Argentine Tango.
