Join us for a Spring Farm Dinner!
A carefully curated selection of complementary flavors, delicately fine tuned to ensure balance and flow. Chef Kay will take you through a menu of artfully coordinated dishes that are sure to strike a chord. Join us for an event where the bustling tempo you are used to cools to a more natural pace as you settle in with your food, refreshing beverage, and a friendly conversation against the backdrop of a vibrant sunset and night under the stars on our half-acre urban farm.
A Night on the Farm is about more than just delicious food, fabulous drinks, and great company. It's about celebrating our shared values of sustainability, justice, curiosity, and community. By attending, you'll be directly supporting our mission to create a more equitable community through the power of growing, learning, and sharing fresh food together. Fresh food access affects everyone, and we are so proud to be a trusted organization, fully committed to closing the hunger gap with our programs:
Pay-What-You-Can Farm Market- Fresh, healthy produce for all in LeDroit Park—food justice is a right, not a privilege.
Youth Education Programs- Empowering the next generation of food leaders through hands-on learning on food sovereignty.
Community Fridge & Pantry- Supporting neighbors in need with essential resources for food security.

Tickets
A Night on the Farm is our signature fundraiser event of the year to support our educational programming for youth and adults as well as our pay-what-you-can Farm Market. We are offering tickets on a sliding scale basis so that you can select the level that best works for you to support and allow us to make the event accessible to more people.

If you're not able to join us, we'll miss you! Please join us in spirit and consider donating today to help us meet our fundraising goals for 2025. You can also "Sponsor a Ticket" on our event registration page to sponsor one of our complimentary tickets for residents of Kelly Miller.
The fair market value of your ticket is to be determined. Any amount paid above the value may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. A formal tax receipt detailing your deductible contribution will be sent to you at a later date.
Dietary Restrictions
Please note that we cannot guarantee that we can make other substitutions to the menu. Please email us at

COVID-19 Protocol
- Please do not attend the event if you have any symptoms or concerns that you may have been exposed to Covid-19. If you are concerned please test before attending the event and contact us if a refund is required due to Covid-19 precautions.
- Masks are optional but encouraged.
Severe Weather Plan
As the farm is an outdoor space, severe weather may impact our ability to host the event.
Our policy has been to reschedule events when the following weather events are forecast with a high likelihood (If it is a drizzle/ light rain, we generally do not reschedule the event and continue to host the event.)
Plan for rain/ severe weather date of
Thursday, May 29th from 5-8pm
- Severe rain and/or high winds that may cause dangerous situations
- Thunderstorm watch or warning
- Tornado watch or warning
- Lighting
- Hail
- Excessive Heat (exceeding 103 degrees F)
If the weather forecast is looking bad, we will be in communication about if we need to reschedule to the back-up date.
