Welcome to Third Rodeo's first Boorloo Lesbian/Queer Social Gathering, A night with Sappho. An intimate social networking function designed to meet one another and set the tone of 2025. To yarn, flirt, make makes - the night is completely yours.

Come join us on the evening of Saturday 18 January for social drinks and connection at Ode to Sirens (The Corner Room), Fremantle. It is a casual, but charming atmosphere, privately booked out for you to socialise among the Lesbian/Queer community. Grab your bloody shiraz or Coke No Sugar from the bar and turn strangers into dearest companions.

Event Breakdown:

We'll greet ya at the door, tick ya name off and give you a name card.

★ Name Game: You never know who you'll meet. Get given a guests name upon arrival and make it your mission to find them. There’s a question on the back to ask them if you’d like. This game creates chatter, banter and memories. The connections are boundless.

★ Uno & Card Games will be available.

★ Call me cards: Keep in contact with each other. Write your details down on one of the 'Call me Cards' displayed around the venue. It's a lovely gesture, an old fashion trick that works like charm!

This is operating at a licensed venue. Please do not BYO. This event is designed for persons 20+. Please note, you will be exposed to loud chatter, large crowds, background music and mood lighting. Photography will be present, although, if you wish to not have your photograph taken, let us know. This venue is wheelchair accessible.

Third Rodeo Background

Third Rodeo provides a safe dedicated Lesbian/Queer space for people in their 20s+ to make connections. The atmosphere is relaxed, charming, a bit raunchy at times, but most importantly its a safe community. Come solo or with pals - whatever you decide, you will be left made with real connections.

We've hosted several successful events in Naarm/Melbourne, Eora/Sydney and Meanjin/Brisbane! I've personally met all my beautiful queer friends through this. I understand how daunting it may be to rock up alone and speak to people, but you'll soon realise that everyone wants the same thing and that everyone is so incredibly friendly. If you haven't already seen my Tiktoks or Instagram, the vibe is like The Planet from the L Word - HAHA!
