A Place at the Table

Parramatta Mission has been dedicated to assisting the most disadvantaged in our community for over 50 years. We open our doors each day to individuals as well as families from all walks of life who may be facing crisis or hardship in regards to food, housing, mental and physical health, and other necessities required on a day-to-day basis. Meals Plus, located in the heart of Parramatta, is where people who may be experiencing homelessness, facing crisis, living with mental health issues or facing isolation and disadvantage can find assistance. We currently serve around 250 meals per day to those in need.

Previously known as the Rich Person Poor Person Event, our Place at the Table Dinner is the same format - a truly unique event - an opportunity for us all to put ourselves in the shoes of those experiencing homelessness and disadvantaged, and to better understand the challenges they face.
