Event description

Late winter is the perfect time to start propagating for your summer veggie garden. This workshop offers everything you need to get started from scratch, and very cheaply. Canberra City Farm will offer two one-hour propagation workshops where you will learn about seed-raising mixes, pot choices, how deep to sow your seeds and more. We are cross-pollinating with Canberra Seed Savers' Seedy Saturday, so you will have the chance to buy, share and swap seeds, and meet the good folk who are serious about seed-growing and saving, and building a resilient community seed-sharing network

Seed Sharing. Swapping and Buying (Seedy Saturday): 1 - 4 pm
