A Slow late-Spring Nature Walk @ Baranduda with Sue Brunskill & Karen Retra
Event description
Join passionate naturalists Sue Brunskill and Karen Retra for a slow nature walk in the Baranduda environmental lands.Â
Come exploring with Sue and Karen and be inspired by their knowledge and enthusiasm for nature from wildflowers, insects and fungi to trees, birds and wildlife. This is the third and final of our Spring walks in this reserve – the season changes so quickly and there is always something new to see. We’ll compare our findings with the previous Spring walks – you’ll be amazed at what’s changed in a few short weeks.
Where: Meet at the Baranduda Link Access point on Boyes RdÂ

What to expect: Expect to focus on the 'slow' and 'nature' rather than the walk - exercise is not the priority! With frogs calling, spring wildflowers in full bloom and all creatures making the most of the nectar boom there will be plenty to get excited about... Please be aware that we will be walking on slopes, on a natural, unpaved and possibly wet surface.
What to bring: Please wear covered shoes and long pants, bring mozzie protection and sunscreen and dress for the weather. Welcome to bring your camera, binoculars etc.Â
Registration prior to the event is essential for communication, safety and insurance purposes.Â
