A Slow mid-Spring Nature Walk @ Baranduda
Event description
Join passionate naturalist Karen Retra for a slow nature walk in the Baranduda environmental lands.Â
Come exploring with Karen and be inspired by her knowledge and enthusiasm for nature from wildflowers, insects and fungi to trees, birds and wildlife. This is the second of our Spring walks in this reserve – the season changes so quickly and there is always something new to see. We’ll compare our findings with the early Spring seasonal walk – you’ll be amazed at what’s changed in a few short weeks.
Where: Meet at the Baranduda Link Access point on Boyes RdÂ

What to expect: Expect to focus on the 'slow' and 'nature' rather than the walk - exercise is not the priority! With a flush of spring wildflowers, frogs calling and the days warming, there will be plenty to get excited about... Please be aware that we will be walking on slopes, on a natural, unpaved and possibly wet surface.
What to bring: Please wear covered shoes and long pants, bring mozzie protection and sunscreen and dress for the weather. Welcome to bring your camera, binoculars etc.Â
Registration prior to the event is essential for communication, safety and insurance purposes.
