A Sneaky Night out with the SunStalkersss

Oh we are excited to be performing at the Sneaky Possum in Chippendale on August 17th!

we have been collaborating with some amazing artists, to bring you a night of wonders and New Music!!!

•Starting out at 7:30 Pm with the amazing Anita Unwin in her solo act:

                   -Smokey The Musical-

Now get ready because even for those who knows this fantastical multi-instrumentalist musician, you will be surprised. She has devised a whole set of booming vocals, epic jazz chord progressions, and theatrical storytelling, about a Smoky special in her life. 

•Next at 8:30 Pm we will be entertained by the amazing:

                           -Balko Band-

From the city of Sydney, BALKO have been toiling away, playing live shows and recording music for 9 years, dabbling in an array of genres…flicking paint at the wall and seeing what sticks. Starting out as a psyche-punk 5 piece in 2015, they quickly fell in love with sonic experimentation within rock music. Whether it’s noise/metal influences on their 2020 E.P ‘DED’. Their mathy progressive/post-rock instrumentals on ‘Beauty Bot’ in 2023 or their love for improvisation on their latest release ‘Balkonization Live and Improvised’ BALKO will continue to throw you colourful curve balls with no explanation.

From the woods of Woodstock NY, across the 7 seas whilst Stalking the Sun, @Sunstalkersss is a collaboration of countries, as well as a culmination of musical tides. Based in the Inner West of Sydney we are a folk-blues, psychedelic-punk band. We are constantly freestyling our way through existential emotions, new experiences, and disruptive thoughts. We are a core group of Zac De Silver Starr. An inner west skate boarding vet, with a penchant for care as well as the daring wayz of life. Jim McNally, the brainchild behing CutThroat Kelly Band. Joel Gerontakos, a blue Mountains soul funk, rock drummer, who's been in the inner west scene for years. Along with the Woodstockian Lindsey Gustafson, who's hitchhiked through the world, finding a home here in Sydney. We tend to invite many of our wonderful musical friends on stage, which keeps the fusion fresh. Get ready for a funky fresh cruise through our memories, and aspirations with the SunStalkersss.
