GCBCC BACK-TO-SCHOOL SUPPLIES GIVEAWAY

Calling all students! Join us at A Taste of Black Gwinnett on Friday, August 15, 2025, in Norcross for our free back-to-school supplies giveaway — while supplies last. Youth must be accompanied by a registered adult attendee to receive supplies. We’re celebrating National Black Business Month by investing in our youth with backpacks, notebooks, pens, folders, and more to help them start the school year strong. Come enjoy delicious food, culture, and community—and leave ready to succeed!

A Taste of Black Gwinnett includes live music performances of The Ladies in Full Effect, as well as Nina Rostin, spoken word from author/artist William Chatman, showcase of FutureFrames Creative Youth Summer Camp projects, press conference launching the African-American Book of Records (AABR) and Black Culture Trivia game for prizes! Urban Mediamakers Film Festival ticket prizes, Spades/Bid Whist competition for prizes, good folks and good vibes!
