A Taste of Newtown: a whānau picnic

Come and connect with our community at our nourishing event showcasing locally sourced, grown, and prepared food.
This is Newtown’s FIFTH year participating in Seeds to Feeds and every year we have evolved into something new. This year we are so excited to be sharing a menu that represents so many cultures present in our Newtown Community.
We’ll be hosting an early evening whānau-focused “picnic” at Newtown School.
Come and share in a gorgeous menu of locally made dumplings, fresh dips, breads and salads. We are excited to be supported this year by the Berhampore Island Bay Orchard, Commonsense Organics, Contemporanae, Goods Cafe (Thorndon).
It’s BYO plate, cutlery, and cups - though we will have some on hand for those who are unable to bring their own.
We can't wait to share this magic afternoon with you, it's fun for the whole whānau!
