A Three-Part VIRTUAL Professional Leadership Series for Teacher Supporters
Professional growth doesn't end after a workshop—it happens through continuous learning, reflection, and collaboration. This three-part webinar series introduces school leaders working with special education teachers to connect their learning with real world implementation.
$30 for All Three On-Line Sessions!
4:30 - 5:30 pm on 1/14/27, 1/21/27, 1/28/27
1 hr Professional Development per session for a total of 3 hrs for the entire series.
**All sessions will be recorded, no matter when you sign up or which sessions you can attend, you will have access to all 3 recorded sessions.
Grounded in High-Leverage Practices (HLPs), this 3-part webinar series is designed to support school and district leaders (Principals, Assistant Principals, Special Education Directors) connecting their learning with real-world implementation.
By the end of the series, participants will:
Understand how to use IRIS resources to strengthen instructional planning and practice
Identify structures to support teacher collaboration and continuous improvement
Leverage peer support systems to sustain implementation of High-Leverage Practices
Use local data to inform professional learning, support teacher retention, and improve student outcomes
1/14/27 Part 1: Strengthening Practice and Teacher Retention with IRIS & Lumia
Explore how the IRIS Center and Lumia work together to support both instructional practice and teacher retention. This session will highlight key IRIS resources aligned to HLPs and demonstrate how Lumia provides ongoing mentorship and collaboration.
Leaders will also examine how local data (e.g., teacher retention trends, instructional needs, and student outcomes) can be used to:
Identify priority areas for professional learning
Target supports for new and experienced teachers
Strengthen retention through meaningful, practice-based support
1/21/27 Part 2: Administrator Drop-In Support Session
This flexible, interactive optional session is designed specifically for school and district leaders. Administrators can “drop in” to:
Ask questions about implementation challenges
Problem-solve around teacher support and coaching structures
Explore ways to align professional development with High-Leverage Practices
This session emphasizes collaboration (HLP 1) and data-informed decision-making (HLP 6) to strengthen systems that support both teachers and students.
1/28/27 Part 3: Moving Forward—Next Steps with IRIS & Lumia
This session focuses on translating learning into action. Participants will identify next steps for integrating IRIS resources and Lumia supports into their ongoing professional learning systems.
Topics will include:
Creating a plan for sustained use of IRIS modules and tools
Embedding Lumia into coaching, mentoring, or PLC structures
Aligning supports with instructional planning (HLP 12) and delivery (HLP 16)
Establishing routines for continuous improvement and collaboration
Participants will leave with a clear, actionable plan for supporting teachers and improving student outcomes over time.
