Join Symbios Quartet for A Very Jazzy Symbios Christmas, an evening of live music, festive cheer and plenty of saxophone as we celebrate our fourth annual Christmas concert!
This year, we’re taking a little look back. Over the past three years, our Christmas concerts have given us some of our favourite arrangements, performances and musical moments, so we’re bringing some of the very best back to the stage. Expect Symbios favourites, festive classics and, of course, a touch of jazz, with plenty of Christmas spirit along the way.
Whether you’re a devoted saxophone lover, have joined us at one of our previous concerts, or are simply looking for a relaxed and joyful way to celebrate Christmas with family and friends, this concert is for you. We love that these concerts have become as much about community and coming together as they are about the music.
This year will also be particularly special for us, as it will be our final concert with Blake before he heads overseas to study. We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the music we’ve made together than by revisiting some of our quartet favourites with the people who have supported us along the way.
Settle in, grab a drink and enjoy an evening of live music in a relaxed festive atmosphere. Alcohol, soft drinks and other refreshments will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

- Will there be drinks available?
Yes! Alcohol, soft drinks and other refreshments will be available to purchase throughout the evening, so grab a drink, settle in and enjoy the music. 🥂🎷
- Will there be seating available and disability access?
Yes! Seating will be available for the concert, and the venue has disability access. If you have specific accessibility requirements or would like assistance with seating, please get in touch with us before the event and we’ll do our best to help.
- Can I bring food to the event?
Absolutely! We won’t be selling food at the event, but you’re very welcome to bring along some snacks to enjoy during the evening. We just ask that you keep things reasonably tidy and avoid anything likely to make a big mess, the saxophones appreciate a crumb-free environment. 😉
- Is this a family-friendly event?
Definitely! Our Christmas concert is all about bringing together family, friends and our wonderful community for an evening of festive music. Saxophone lovers of all ages are welcome!
- Will we hear Mariah Carey?
We can neither confirm nor deny the presence of Mariah Carey… 👀🎄
But Christmas classics with a Symbios twist? Absolutely. - Do I need to be a jazz fan?
Not at all! There’ll be something for everyone, Symbios favourites, familiar festive tunes and just enough jazz to put a little swing in your Christmas. 🎷
