Learn the tricks of the trade from experienced comedians, including a fellow veteran! We'll cover joke writing, storytelling, timing and stagecraft.

Meet your workshop facilitators!

Briant Clark is a veteran, experienced stand-up comedian and co-owner of The Last Supper and Top Floor Comedy. Having served in the Australian Defence Force, Briant brings his own military experience, sense of humour and passion for comedy to the workshop.

Danielle Andrews is a local Darwin comedian and experienced comedy workshop facilitator who loves helping people discover their funny side.

Together, Briant and Danielle will guide you through the basics of stand-up in a fun, relaxed and supportive environment.

Then, if you're feeling brave, take to the stage with your own 3–5 minute set at our Veterans Comedy Showcase.

No experience needed. No pressure to perform. Just a chance to try something new, meet some mates and have a bloody good laugh.
