Weaving Stories: Sky Spirits Celebration

In honour of the Weaving Stories workshops, the program will culminate with a celebration of Aboriginal culture in a special Sky Spirit event at Curl Curl Creative Space as part of the Creative Open winter arts festival.

Participants of the workshops will have the opportunity to be part of a group installation Emu Dreaming, that accompanies Sky Spirits, weaves by master weaver Karleen Green.

Led by local knowledge holder Caroline Glass-Pattison, gather under the stars with live music, and hear from Aboriginal astrophysicist Dr. Kirstin Banks who will share insights into astronomy from a First Nations perspective.
