A Workshop on Yiddish Adjectives

This workshop is a continuation of the workshop on Yiddish nouns, but can be taken separately as well. 

In this workshop, you will learn the declination of adjectives in different cases and genders, what is a basic form of an adjective and when to use it, what happens when you put an adjective after a noun, comparative and superlative adjectives. 

After the workshop, you will get homework to practice the information you learned. Each participant will get personal feedback on the homework.

• If you just started to learn Yiddish and want to understand this topic better,
• If you already learn Yiddish for some time but feel that you have a gap in grammar,
• If you are an advanced speaker and want to refresh your knowledge,
• If you are a Yiddish teacher and want to get life hacks at how to explain this theme to your students.

Instructor: Katerina Kuznetsova

Katerina Kuznetsova has been teaching Yiddish (language, grammar, and literature) since 2020. 

She was born in Moscow where she studied Literature, Pedagogics, and Religious Studies. In 2016, Katerina graduated from the MA program in Yiddish Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She lives in Berlin, where she co-founded the initiative Yiddish.Berlin – a group of artists and activists that organises cultural events involving Yiddish literature and culture.
