A weekend retreat in nature that offers you calm, self-care, and reflection time on the sacred Mtn Gulagar with Nirlipta and friends. The weekend is all about You, offering self-management skills to help calm the nervous system and energise your life force. It's an opportunity to take time away from the responsibilities of your external life and explore your inner world.
Held at the Kamalashila Tibetan Buddhist Retreat Centre, a spiritually significant place to the local Indigenous people and a place of deep beauty.
Nirlipta will guide you each day through stretches for your body & mind, including breathwork, meditation, laughter and more. The weekend workshops create the perfect atmosphere for inner nurturing that will raise your vibrations high and add to your self-loving tool kit.
'Centre Yourself' ~ Learn how & why Mayan self-care abdominal massage is a valuable daily practice tool. Integrating this knowledge Wendy Young will take you through a practice of the Mayan abdominal massage. A self-nurturing technique to reconnect with your centre as it heals nourishes & cares for your body & soul. Wendy has a gift in her hands and loves to share her passion with people on their healing journey.
'Dare to Live' ~ Experience Biodanza, a dance journey to expand the ways we live and relate. Monica has carefully crafted the interplay of music, movement and dance. She will lead you through an experience of movement to enhance your self-love and be uplifted, energized, and relaxed. Monica has been enthusiastically involved with the Biodanza School of Australia for the last ten years and loves to share her passion.
'Zestful Living' ~ an Aromatherapy session with Vanessa Corrigan. She will guide us to create a roll-on to take home. This will be specific to your needs & desires over the weekend. You'll feel confident using essential oils safely to enhance your well-being. Vanessa is a well-known and respected healer of many years.
Noble silence overnight and into the following morning allows time for reflection and further integration.
There will be time to rest during the day and explore the magnificent environment of the sacred Gulaga mountain.
You will be fed fabulous vegetarian meals by Krsnadas & Premkranti using organic produce from their market garden, including morning and afternoon teas.
There is a variety of accommodation options to choose from including camping, dormitories, caravans and self-contained huts.
From 20th September the retreat will be opened up for day visitors. Saturday and Sunday day visits include all sessions between breakfast and dinner, lunch and morning/afternoon tea.
