Event description

The Sydney A11y (Accessibility) Camp networking event is an in-person event where you can chat with others while hearing from digital professionals and people with lived experience of disability about what grinds their gears!

This networking event is part of the A11y Camp 2022 conference. Visit the A11y Camp 2022 conference event on Humanitix to register for this free event with 24 local and global speakers sharing their knowledge about digital accessibility and inclusion.

This event also coincides with World Usability Day, a global event that bring together different communities to celebrate how we can make our world easy for all.

The event will be captioned, and the venue is accessible. Food and drink will be provided.

So, what grinds your gears?

At this event, we will have a range of digital professionals and people with lived experience of disability share what grinds their gears, what gets their goat, what ticks them off - basically, what annoys them as a creator or user of accessible (or not so accessible) digital experiences. We'll then ask them to share what they think could help the situation, and then hear insights from our expert panel.
