Event description

ABOUT THE TALK:

In today's context, almost every aspect of our lives are being digitized, including the way we interact with each other. We are at the same time ever more connected than ever, yet we are also more alone than ever. And because of this we often forget about the impact we can have on the people around us, and the communities around us.

In this chapter of our A-Talk series, we have invited a fellow AIESEC alum to join us and share how her AIESEC experience has led her to her current role at Humanitix, the world's first not-for-profit ticketing platform backed by Atlassian and Google, and how they are revolutionizing how organizations view social impact globally.

Join us if you are interested in knowing how you could grow your social impact scale another level, as well as how to better engage your audience and participants at events/webinars/conferences/etc...  If not, anyone looking to know more about social impact and social entrepreneurship should definitely come and interact with Jenny.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Jenny is an AIESEC alumna who is one of the foundation members at Humanitix, the world's first not-for-profit ticketing platform. She grew up in South Korea and New Zealand, and practised as a lawyer for 3.5 years in Auckland before moving to Sydney and joining Humanitix as the Head of Distribution.

She was actively involved in AIESEC Auckland for around 3 years during her time at Auckland University, culminating in a VP OGX role for the 13/14 term. During her AIESEC journey, Jenny completed 2 volunteer internships, one in Beijing and another in Cape Coast, Ghana.

Jenny is an amateur fan of all things creative, including film, literature, music and the visual arts. One of her most recent achievements include a 365 day streak on Duolingo (Español).
