Guest presenter: Anna Jarrett is a professional storyteller, photographer, published author, teacher and outdoor guide, living on Walbunja Yuin country, south coast NSW Australia. Anna brings 37 years of storytelling and community arts experience, with 15 years of conservation and shorebird education, to her environmental storytelling.

At the heart of Anna’s storytelling and education work, is the joy of feeling connected to our world and to each other. Anna’s dream is to bring story and oral storytelling back to the core of how we relate to, learn about, live in and care for our world.

In 2026, Anna will be collaborating with AAEE to launch some environmental storytelling initiatives and work towards growing an environmental storytelling network for educators.
