    Event description

    The Association for Authentic, Experiential, and Evidence-Based Learning (AAEEBL) and Dominican University of California invite to the first AAEEBL ePortfolio Retreat on 18 October 2024. This one-day event provides space for scholars, academics, practitioners, peer mentors, tutors, and students involved in portfolio practice to come together and share what they are working on and questions they have. It is an opportunity to come together in person to start thinking about contributions to the AAEEBL Field Guide to Reflection in ePortfolios.

    Preliminary schedule

    • 8:45: Arrival
    • 9:00: Kick-off session: The Dominican Experience
    • 10:00: 5-minute spark talks: Sharing of portfolio stories to learn from each other
    • 11:00: Speed dating portfolio style
    • 12:00: Lunch
    • 1:00: Supporting learning through an AI-powered reflection chatbot with Dr Leticia Britos Cavagnaro (Stanford University, d.school)
    • 2:00: Brainstorm potential Field Guide chapter(s)
    • 3:00: End

    Please note: This is an in-person event. Remote participation will not be possible.

    Registration and tickets

    The retreat registration fee for individuals is $30. For those who are working part-time, retired, or unwaged, the registration fee is $10. Registration for the retreat includes coffee/tea service in the morning and lunch.
