AAJA Chicago Presents: Trivia Bowl 2025

Join us at Northwestern University's Medill campus downtown for dinner and competition at AAJA Chicago's 2025 Trivia Bowl. Whether you're a group of gumshoes or die-hard trivia fans, put your brains to the test while contributing to a great cause.

Your ticket covers trivia, food, and one free raffle ticket! Drinks and additional raffle tickets for prizes donated by the Field Museum, White Sox, Chicago Architecture Center, and more will be available to purchase at the event. Early bird pricing ends on Friday, Jan. 10 at 11:59 p.m.

• If you have a group of trivia geeks, you can register as a team under a team name with up to eight players. We need the name and email address for each player, as that information will be used at check-in.
• If you're a solo rider and are looking to join a group, we'll set you up!

If you'd like to participate but prefer not to buy a ticket, there are 10 volunteer spots available for participants to help with set-up and breakdown. Volunteers will be able to participate in the trivia game! We're also seeking volunteers to help throughout the event. For more information on volunteering, reach out to chicago@aaja.org.

Doors open for dinner, drinks and raffle at 5:30 p.m. The Trivia Bowl competition begins at 6:30 p.m.

AAJA Chicago's annual Trivia Bowl serves as the primary fundraising source for our scholarship program that supports Chicago-area internships at some of our city's top newsrooms. Over the years, we've had college interns pursuing their dreams at Block Club Chicago, the Chicago Sun-Times, the Chicago Tribune, Modern Luxury magazines, Telemundo Chicago and several local TV stations. These vital experiences make it possible for students to build their portfolios, hone their craft and forge connections that will help them launch their careers — all of which are central to AAJA's mission.
