AAUT Information & Planning Session

The AAUT awards celebrate significant contributions to teaching and learning in higher education.  Staff who are considering applying for the Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT) in future rounds are invited to attend a 1.5-hour information and planning session.

This session is designed for those at an early stage of preparation and will provide an overview of the AAUT scheme, including award categories, selection processes, and expectations for competitive applications. It will also focus on forward planning—identifying areas of teaching excellence, building and curating evidence over time, and developing a strong, criteria-aligned narrative.

The session will include opportunities for discussion, questions, and early-stage idea development in a collegial and supportive environment.
