Melbourne- Garden Volunteering Experience

Abbotsford (Victoria Park) Kitchen Garden

Under the guidance of our garden supervisor, each group of up to 10 corporate volunteers will be engaged in a range of gardening tasks directly related to growing vegetables and herbs to cook into meals for people in need. Tasks may include weeding, mulching, planting, fertilizing, harvesting, propagation, and pest management. Everything grown and harvested in the garden is taken to our kitchen to be cooked into nutritious meals.

Important Information

💡 Cancellations & Rescheduling

Should you wish to cancel or reschedule your shift, you can do so up to 30 days prior to your session date for a full refund. If you cancel between 14 -30 days before your shift, we may apply a 50% cancellation fee. We do not offer refunds for shifts cancelled or rescheduled within 14 days of your designated shift date. 

💡 Volunteer Numbers Matter
The number of volunteers booked directly impacts the number of meals we can prepare and pack. Please ensure your numbers are accurate.
